Role Description

This is a work from home opportunity for an Assistant Junior Editor. The role involves assisting senior editors with content creation, conducting editorial reviews, proofreading, and ensuring adherence to publication standards. Responsibilities also include collaborating with writers to refine submissions, managing deadlines, and maintaining editorial consistency across all platforms. The Assistant Junior Editor will liaise with the editorial team to support the creation of engaging and high-quality material that meets audience expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong Editing, Proofreading, and Attention to Detail skills
• Experience in Content Writing and Creative Writing
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills for working with editorial teams and contributors
• Proficiency in digital and publishing tools; familiarity with industry-standard style guides is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Prior experience in publication, editing, or content production is desirable
