Job Description – Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Uni-Com India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a driven and strategic Area Sales Manager to scale business in a fast-growing mobility market. This role leads frontline teams, channels, and distributors to achieve aggressive growth targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Delivery

· Achieve monthly secondary sales targets and growth objectives

· Drive model-wise & segment-wise sales efficiency & growth

· Expand numeric & weighted distribution in the market

Market Execution

· Execute structured route/beat plans daily of TSE

· Ensure availability across SKUs and maintain healthy stock rotation

· Visibility execution through POPs, displays & brand compliance

· Ensure pricing hygiene at retail level

· Manage & guide distributor FOS for delivering desired results

Retailer Engagement

· Strong relationship building for sustained business growth

· Educate stores on key product USPs for faster conversions

· Communicate retailer schemes and ensure clear claim management

· Reduce returns & DOA issues through proactive handling

· Grievance redressal of the channel partner

Insights & Reporting

· Daily DSR reporting with actionable insights

· Gather competitor intelligence on offers, pricing & launches

· Identify new opportunities and coverage gaps

Team & Coordination

· Cross-functional collaboration

· Support promoter productivity & retail events

Ideal Candidate Profile

· Challenger growth mindset required

· 5–8 years in Telecom / Mobile / FMCG / Durables

· Excellent negotiation & communication skills

· Proficiency in MS Tools

· Ambitious performer who loves working in the field

Reporting Structure

· Reports To: Zonal Manager (ZM)
