About Doodli AI

Doodli transforms your child’s imagination into magical, animated shows. With just a drawing or a favourite idea, Doodli brings characters to life in colourful, personalized micro shows and episodes designed for kids ages 2–8.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve AI-driven pipelines that transform children’s drawings and ideas into animated video content.
• Work on machine learning models related to image understanding, storytelling, animation logic, and video generation.
• Assist in developing agentic AI systems that follow parent-defined lessons, values, and themes.
• Implement backend AI services using Python and FastAPI to support content generation workflows.
• Experiment with and adapt transformer-based models for creative, educational, and child-safe use cases.
• Preprocess, clean, and analyze multimodal datasets (images, text, prompts) for model training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure outputs are engaging, age-appropriate, and safe for kids.
• Document experiments, model behaviour, and learnings clearly for future iterations. (Optional) Support model deployment, monitoring, and optimization on cloud infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning fundamentals, especially applied use cases (NLP, vision, or generative AI).
• Understanding of transformer architectures (attention mechanisms, BERT, GPT, or similar models).
• Familiarity with ML libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, along with NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Experience or interest in building APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of data preprocessing, prompt design, model evaluation, and experimentation.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for building creative AI products for children.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn rapidly in a startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to generative AI, including image, video, or multimodal models.
• Experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with child-safe AI concepts, content moderation, or educational AI (a plus, not mandatory).
• Experience deploying or experimenting with models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Interest in storytelling, animation, education, or creative technology.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Availability to work full-time in this internship for 3-4 months.
• Portfolio or GitHub showcasing relevant AI projects (e.g., ML models, FastAPI apps, transformer implementations).

Internship Details

📍 Location: Hybrid – Bengaluru (remote, with in-person syncs weekly)

💸 Stipend: ₹25,000–₹30,000/month

📅 Duration: 3 to 4 months
