Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for developing and expanding the sales and distribution network for Denzuu’s newly launched non-carbonated beverage range with alkaline water (4 flavours) in the Noida market. The role will focus on appointing distributors, building a sales team, strengthening general trade channels, and driving revenue growth in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

1. Distribution Development
  • Identify, appoint, and develop distributors and channel partners in the Gurgaon market.
  • Establish strong distribution coverage across general trade, wholesale markets, and retail outlets.
  • Ensure consistent product availability and market penetration.

  • 2. Team Building & Management
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Officers and Pre-Sales Representatives (PSRs).
  • Set sales targets for the team and monitor their daily market activities.
  • Guide the team on route planning, outlet coverage, and secondary sales growth.

  • 3. Sales Growth & Market Expansion
  • Drive primary and secondary sales for non-carbonated alkaline beverage products.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets for the territory.
  • Develop new business opportunities and build relationships with key retail partners.

  • 4. Market Execution
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies in the beverage market.
  • Ensure proper product visibility, merchandising, and display at retail outlets.
  • Support promotional campaigns and product launches in the market.

  • 5. Reporting & Market Intelligence
  • Track sales performance, distributor performance, and market coverage.
  • Provide regular reports on sales, market trends, and business opportunities.
  • Maintain strong coordination with internal teams for stock planning and supply.

  • Key Result Areas (KRA)
  • Appointment of strong distributors and channel partners in Noida.
  • Building and managing a Sales Officer and PSR team.
  • Achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Expanding distribution reach and retail outlet coverage.
  • Successful market launch and growth of Denzuu beverages in the region.

  • Candidate Profile
  • 6–10 years of sales experience in beverage or packaged drinking water industry.
  • Strong knowledge of General Trade distribution network.
  • Experience in appointing distributors and building sales teams.
  • Good network in Noida / Delhi NCR FMCG market.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and market development skills.
