Position Summary:

The Area Manager will take complete ownership of the performance, development, and growth of the Area/Cluster. This role involves leading by example, managing budgets, coaching teams, building strong networks, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. The ideal candidate will drive sales excellence, career growth, and market representation while maintaining a focus on compliance and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Performance Management:

    • End-to-end ownership of BM, ABM, and FLSM performance metrics.

    • Set personal goals and lead by example, maintaining adequate SOC.

  2. Budget Management:

    • Own and manage budgets for the assigned Area/Cluster effectively.

  3. Recruitment and Networking:

    • Continuously network to onboard competent FT-Agency/Partners from the market.

    • Propagate career opportunities among Life Advisors (LAs) and other stakeholders.

  4. Agency/Partner Development:

    • Ensure Agency/Partner incomes in the location exceed benchmarks.

    • Contact and re-activate underperforming Agency/Partners who do not meet CMC criteria.

  5. Coaching and Mentoring:

    • Coach BM, ABM, and FLSMs on sales, management skills, and career development.

    • Own the Rookie Agency/Partners induction and development programs.

  6. Training and Development:

    • Collaborate with the training team to organize regulatory and skill development programs.

  7. Event and Promotion Management:

    • Arrange and participate in outdoor promotional events and seminars for recruitment, awareness, and customer engagement.

  8. Performance Recognition:

    • Grow advisor and Business Associate (BA) representation in conventions, MDRT, and R&R initiatives.

  9. Productivity and Compliance:

    • Ensure the desired product mix is achieved across branches in the area.

    • Address and escalate compliance issues as necessary.
