Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Applied AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using modern Large Language Models (LLMs) and machine learning technologies.

This role focuses on transforming real-world business problems into scalable AI solutions, including RAG systems, AI agents, and intelligent automation workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills and hands-on experience building production-grade AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build LLM-powered applications, including RAG pipelines, AI agents, and automation workflows
• Develop prompt engineering strategies and experiment with different model configurations
• Implement evaluation frameworks and benchmarking pipelines to measure model performance
• Build scalable AI pipelines using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar tools
• Integrate AI models through APIs (OpenAI, open-source models, or hosted LLM services)
• Work with vector databases for semantic search and knowledge retrieval
• Optimize AI systems for performance, latency, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers and data teams to integrate AI features into production systems
• Contribute to architecture design and best practices for AI-powered products

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python programming
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based applications
• Experience with prompt engineering and structured output generation
• Understanding of REST APIs and microservice architectures
• Experience working with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, or similar)
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI agent frameworks
• Experience with fine-tuning, adapters, or model customization
• Experience implementing evaluation frameworks for LLM systems
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with ML pipelines or model deployment
