FASHION DESIGN INTERN

A.W.W. is looking for a dedicated Fashion design intern to assist

on various current and upcoming projects in our New Delhi studio for

a minimum of 6 days a week.

This is a paid internship, Stipend shall be discussed.

TIMELINE/ START DATE

• March 20th, 2026

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelors FD.

-Previous experience in a design assistance role, with an understanding of design and the production process.

-Robust knowledge of garment making, machine mechanics and the production process.

-A strong eye for detail and ability to align design and samples with timelines and client requirements.

-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

-A collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute creatively.

-Strong knowledge of Adobe suite.(Illustrator and Photoshop in particular)

RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT LIMITED TO)

-Design research and sketch ideations.

-Assisting in all areas of collection development including, creating

swatches, pattern-making, surface treatment explorations and applications (i.E. beading, hand embroidery, and fabric treatments).

-Creating and updating tech packs.

-Updating and maintaining moodboard, yarn and fabric catalogs.

-Sourcing fabrics and trims.

-Communicating with vendors, pattern makers and tailors and enforcing

production timelines.

-Assistance with client collection development.

-Assisting with styling, photoshoots, and shows.

REQUIREMENTS

Positive attitude, willingness to learn and enthusiasm are key.

Extremely organized, detail oriented, able to multitask and work

independently.

Basic or intermediate understanding of textiles and pattern-making.

Can operate and use Industrial straight stitch and serger.
