We are looking for a detail-oriented API Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for designing and executing tests for our API services, ensuring that they meet functional

and performance requirements. You will work closely with developers and product managers to

deliver high-quality products that enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for API testing.

• Validate API functionality, performance, security, and reliability.

• Analyse API documentation and specifications to create comprehensive test scenarios.

• Utilize automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

• Report and track defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.

• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve API performance.

• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in API testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in API testing (REST, SOAP, etc.) using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or

JMeter.

• Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Rest Assured) is a plus.

• Strong understanding of web services and data formats (JSON, XML).

• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is desirable.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
