    • Caretaker Job Summary

    This is a contract position for a caretaker with plumbing knowledge to manage daily maintenance and oversee critical utilities at a 350-apartment residential complex located in Kakkanad.

    Key Responsibilities

    The main duties focus on general property upkeep and the operation and maintenance of essential utility systems:
  • General Maintenance:
  • General maintenance and cleanliness of the property.
  • Handling resident service requests.
  • Coordinating with external vendors when needed.
  • Maintaining proper functioning of all essential systems.
  • Plumbing & Utilities:
  • Basic plumbing work in flats and common areas.
  • Operation & maintenance of the:
  • STP (Sewage Treatment Plant)
  • Swimming Pool
  • Common Cooking Gas Line and Gas meter reading.
  • Drinking Water Supply System and water tankers.
  • Borewells & Water Motors.
  • Overhead & Underground Water Tanks.

    • Requirements

    Candidates must have:
  • Experience in apartment or building maintenance.
  • Plumbing skills (a must); other repair knowledge is a plus.
  • Be responsible, honest, and proactive.
  • Be willing to stay on-site (if required).
  • Be able to respond to urgent issues.
  • Be able to assist 2 existing caretakers.
