Full–time

Posted on: 8 days ago

Please animate the provided
cat character in
Maya using the reference video.

Referenced video:

Cat character model:

Instructions:
  • Animate the provided cat character in
  • Maya.
  • Set the animation to
  • 24 fps (real-time playback).
  • Recreate the cat's movement
  • as closely as possible to the reference video.
Create simple obstacle models based on the reference video, using
    basic shapes only is okay:
  • Box/rectangles for planks or flat surfaces, etc...
  • Cylinders for objects the cat climbs on, etc...
  • Simple rounded shapes for furniture such as couches, etc...

  • Basically, the obstacle objects do
not need detailed modeling, but the
size and ratio to the cat and placement should be accurate, especially for surfaces where the cat's paws make contact.
  • The animation should be
  • continuous from start to finish.
  • In the reference video, there is a moment where the camera slows down.
  • Please ignore this and keep the animation at a consistent speed.
  • No need to recreate the camera like in the reference video. We will review the animation
directly in the Maya viewport.
