Android/macOS App Developer (Part-time, Work-from-Home)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Android/macOS App Developer to join our part-time remote team. You’ll be developing and maintaining high-performance mobile and desktop applications across Native, Hybrid, and PWA technologies. Apps may span industries such as productivity, content, wellness, and education.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build Android and macOS apps using Native and cross-platform technologies.
• Utilize languages including Kotlin, Swift, Dart, Java, and Objective-C.
• Develop hybrid/PWA applications using frameworks like Flutter, React Native, and Ionic.
• Use tools such as Android Studio, Xcode, Jetpack Compose, and SwiftUI.
• Integrate cloud services (Firebase, AWS, Google Cloud) and third-party APIs.
• Ensure apps are optimized for performance, responsiveness, and battery efficiency.
• Conduct debugging, performance tuning, and device testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in mobile/macOS application development.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Swift, Dart, and/or Objective-C.
• Experience with frameworks: Flutter, Jetpack Compose, SwiftUI, React Native, and Ionic.
• Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) is a plus.
• Experience integrating with AWS (Lambda, S3, Cognito) and/or Google Cloud (Firebase, Cloud Functions).
• Strong knowledge of mobile architecture (MVVM, MVC) and deployment to Play Store and Mac App Store.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
