Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer (Preferred candidate from Mumbai location only)

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our growing Real Estate Data team.

This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade Power BI data models and reports that support strategic decision-making across the global Real Estate platform.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Power BI and SQL with a deep understanding of data modeling principles and a proactive, business-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI semantic models and reports
Build and optimize data models using best practices
Partner with stakeholders across the global Real Estate team to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver data-driven solutions
Write efficient SQL queries to source and transform data from enterprise data warehouses
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across reports
Improve existing reporting workflows and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency
Assist with project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of strategic data initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; advanced degree is a plus
2–4 years of hands-on experience developing in Power BI and SQL
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
Experience building interactive reports and semantic models
Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, or modern data warehouse environments is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams
