Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Manager with deep expertise in Computer Vision / Deep Learning and strong knowledge of Data Science, Analytics, and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate should have managed developments, customer deployments, and field operations of AI models involving CV/DL and DS/ML. Candidates should have a strong foundation in software development best practices, cloud-based architectures, and a deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks. You will be responsible for teams designing, developing, and deploying high-performance AI models, optimizing pipelines, and ensuring scalability for real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AI / DS Model Development & Optimization

• Manage the development process for computer vision / deep learning models for object detection, segmentation, and classification & data science / analytics for large scale structured / unstructured data.
• Guide the teams in model picking and fine-tuning
• Manage customer model Deployment
• Monitor and finetune the models in field

2. Scalable AI & Distributed Computing

• Design and Manage scalable AI models using distributed computing frameworks such as Ray, Spark, or Dask.
• Design and Manage parallel processing techniques to handle large-scale data efficiently.

3. Updating with Developments in AI & DS

• Stay updated with cutting-edge research in AI, deep learning, computer vision, data science, and machine learning.
• Evaluate new algorithms and techniques to improve existing models.

4. Team Collaboration & Mentorship

• Manage cross-functionally with product teams, software engineers, and data scientists to build AI-driven solutions.
• Mentor junior AI engineers and conduct internal training sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, CV, AI, ML, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+years of software development and 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, computer vision, and data science.
• MLOps: Experience with model monitoring, retraining pipelines, and feature stores.
• Computer Vision Expertise: Experience with image processing, object detection, segmentation, video analytics.
• Data Science & Analytics: Strong grasp of statistics, data visualization, and machine learning techniques.
• Cloud & Deployment: Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying scalable AI solutions.
• Distributed AI & Big Data: Experience with Ray, Apache Spark, Dask, or other distributed frameworks.
• Software Engineering: Strong foundation in Git, Docker, Kubernetes, API development.
• Mathematics: Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability, optimization, and deep learning.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• NLP Experience: Familiarity with transformer models, LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, T5).
• Multi-Modal AI: Knowledge of models that combine text, vision, and structured data.
• Edge AI & Embedded Systems: Experience optimizing AI models for Jetson, Raspberry Pi, or mobile devices.
• Working knowledge in C & C++
