Veena is a Music Production Platform (DAW) that accelerates the process of song creation for musicians. With the help of AI agents, Veena can take targeted actions on a song (eg increase bass here, add a female vocal layer here, add a drum roll here).

This is not prompt-to-music generation. Musicians have full control over each component and aspect of their music. Build, Produce, Edit, Mix, Master -- the right way.

Role Description

This is a remote role for an AI Engineer Intern. The Intern will assist in developing Agentic Tools and Workflows for Veena's **AI-based Music Co-producer assistant** . This includes

- designing agentic system that reason, act, evaluate, iterate
- design music production specific tools for audio and MIDI editing.
- Integrate music-oriented AI models for audio generation and editing.
- Curate samples and loops for the sound library.

Qualifications

(MUST HAVE)

- (MOST SIGNIFICANT): Have previous MUSIC PERFORMANCE OR PRODUCTION experience (e.g. instrumentalist, DJ, singer, producer, mixing/mastering engineer, etc). Casual hobbyists do not qualify.
- Experience in building AI agents from scratch
- Experience in building custom tools and MCPs

(GOOD TO HAVE)

- Background in AI research (LLMs, Audio Models, etc) is preferred strongly.

Compensation: This is a PAID internship. Above market rate compensation. To be discussed after interviews.
