Role Overview

The Marketplace Ads Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and

visibility across online marketplaces by strategically planning, executing, and

optimizing paid media campaigns. The role requires deep expertise in marketplace

advertising platforms (Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, Nykaa Ads, etc.) and strong

analytical acumen to deliver high ROI performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement performance marketing strategies for marketplaces

  • aligned with overall sales goals.
  • Create seasonal ad plans around brand campaigns, sale periods, and new

  • launches.
  • Manage budgets, forecast ad spends, and allocate across platforms

  • efficiently.
  • Campaign Management
  • Execute and optimize paid ad campaigns across Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart,

  • and other marketplaces.
  • Manage Sponsored Ads, Display, Video, and Search campaigns to drive

  • conversion and visibility.
  • Continuously monitor bids, keywords, and ASIN performance for maximum

  • efficiency.
  • Analytics & Optimization
  • Track and analyze KPIs: ROAS, TACoS, CTR, conversion rate, and ACoS

  • across platforms.
  • Identify underperforming SKUs or campaigns and drive corrective actions.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance dashboards with actionable

  • insights.
  • Collaboration & Coordination
  • Work closely with the marketplace account team, category managers, and

  • brand marketing for campaign alignment.
  • Coordinate with design and content teams to develop compelling ad creatives

  • and product listings.
  • Partner with sales and supply teams to ensure ad efforts align with inventory

  • and pricing strategy.
  • Experimentation & Growth
  • Test new ad formats, audience strategies, and automation tools to scale

  • efficiently.
  • Stay updated on marketplace algorithm changes and new ad features.
  • Benchmark against competitors and share recommendations for

  • improvement.

    Requirements
  • 3–6 years of experience in performance marketing or marketplace ads

  • management.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Advertising Console, Flipkart Ads

  • Manager, and/or Nykaa Ad Platform.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills; comfort with data dashboards and reporting

  • tools.
  • Proven track record of improving ROAS and sales via marketplace

  • campaigns.
  • Understanding of e-commerce P&L metrics, category dynamics, and keyword

  • strategy.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

  • Preferred
  • Experience with D2C or personal care / lifestyle brands.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Pacvue, Perpetua, Skai, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and organic marketplace ranking factors.
