As a Credit Approval Manager, your role will involve supporting and co-partnering with business teams to manage end-to-end credit approval for the designated region. This includes underwriting cases and presenting them to senior levels. You will be responsible for conducting a detailed analysis of financial statements, bank statements, ongoing works, and assessing the borrower's serviceability of term loans/working capital limits. Additionally, you will meet new-to-bank (NTB) and existing customers to understand market dynamics and monitor deferrals, Pre-Delinquency Days (PDD), early delinquency accounts, and asset verifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete annual reviews of accounts within specified timelines
- Authorize deviations raised and documented by underwriters in compliance with credit policy
- Approve all disbursement requests based on adherence to agreement value and full documentation at the branch level
- Monitor and oversee PDD management, ensuring timely completion of personal discussion documents through customer visits in high-value cases
- Coordinate with external vendors (FI, Legal & Technical valuations) to ensure timely query resolution/report submission and eliminate delays
- Engage with the recoveries team to generate business insights and ensure portfolio quality and delinquencies
- Develop, implement, review, and monitor various credit programs, providing training and coaching to upgrade the team's competency and improve processing efficiency
- Ensure due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting, and loan sanctioning
- Customize underwriting norms to local market needs and enhance consumer credit risk strategy execution

Qualifications Required:
- Strong credit risk assessment & underwriting skills for SME/Asset Finance verticals
- Proficiency in financial analysis, industry analysis, financial modeling, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT Skills in MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel, and Tableau
- Ability to identify portfolio hotspots with analytical skills
- Understanding of RBI regulations and compliance requirements for NBFCs, especially for Asset Finance business
