This position will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge 5G network infrastructure. Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain 5G radio access network (RAN) and core network components. Optimize network performance to ensure high availability, low latency, and maximum throughput. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, performing root cause analysis. Develop and implement network monitoring strategies and tools. Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions. Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and integrate new technologies and equipment. Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including architecture diagrams and configuration guides. Conduct performance testing and capacity planning for 5G networks. Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in 5G technology. Work closely with cross-functional teams in a remote environment to ensure seamless integration of network services. Develop automation scripts for network configuration and management. Ensure network security and compliance with relevant policies. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and operational teams. Participate in on-call rotation to address critical network incidents. Contribute to the development of long-term network strategy and roadmap. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile network engineering, with a strong focus on 5G technologies. In-depth knowledge of 5G NR, LTE, and other wireless communication standards. Hands-on experience with network planning, deployment, and optimization tools. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for network automation. Strong understanding of IP networking, routing protocols, and network security. Experience with cloud-native network functions (CNFs) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team environment. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, 5G certifications) are a plus.
