Job Title: 2D Spine Animator + Video Editor
Experience: 2–4 Years (Video Editing: 1 year)
Location: Remote

Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled 2D Spine Animator who can also handle basic video editing for promotional content and gameplay trailers. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year of video editing experience. Prior experience in casino or slot games is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create polished 2D animations in Spine for characters, slot symbols, UI elements, win effects, and game interactions.
• Rig characters and assets using advanced Spine features (bones, meshes, weights, constraints, skins, IK setups).
• Prepare and optimize layered assets for animation using Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
• Export and integrate Spine animations into game engines, ensuring smooth functionality.
• Optimize animations for mobile and web platforms (performance, FPS, memory usage, file size).
• Maintain organized and clean Spine project files following pipeline standards.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to ensure seamless implementation in game builds.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance motion quality, character personality, and overall game feel.
• Create promotional videos, gameplay trailers, and social media content using video editing tools.
• Enhance promotional videos with basic visual effects, motion enhancements, transitions, and text overlays to make content engaging.

Required Skills & Tools:

• 2–4 years of overall experience, with strong command in Spine 2D animation.
• Minimum 1 year of video editing experience.
• Ability to combine animations, video clips, and audio into engaging promotional videos.
• Strong understanding of 2D animation principles (timing, anticipation, squash & stretch, easing, etc.).
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator for asset preparation.
• Experience exporting Spine animations to game engines.
• Ability to optimize animations for mobile/web performance.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow a consistent art style, and good communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience working on casino and slot games.
• Knowledge of slot symbol animations, win celebrations, bonus triggers, and high-impact game effects.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for animation or video editing.
• Experience in fast-paced gaming production pipelines.
