Role Description

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technical Developer / Technical Lead with 8-12 years of industry experience and strong full-stack engineering capabilities and deep expertise in .NET technologies, cloud infrastructure, and modern web frameworks. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work across legacy and modern technology stacks, analyze complex systems in the payments domain, and independently drive technical solutions. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, architectural understanding, and the ability to mentor team members while contributing hands-on to development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 6+, and modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Work across legacy and modern technology stacks, ensuring smooth integration and modernization where required.
• Understand and work on complex enterprise payment systems, including analyzing existing architecture and proposing improvements.
• Develop scalable and secure applications deployed on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Configure and manage cloud infrastructure components such as load balancers, application hosting, and supporting services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, security, and performance.
• Use tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, and other static code analysis tools to maintain code quality and security compliance.
• Follow secure coding practices and address vulnerabilities aligned with OWASP guidelines.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex production issues and deliver enhancements.
• Analyze complex database logic and stored procedures in MS SQL Server.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
• Participate in support, maintenance, and enhancement of critical systems.
• Collaborate with US-based teams, including working in second shift / overlapping US hours when required.

Experience

Required Skills & Experience

Around 8 to 12 years experience in Software development and atleast 2-3 years experience in leading the team

Core Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in .NET Framework and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+).
• Hands-on experience with React or Angular.
• Working knowledge of Node.js (optional but desirable).
• Strong experience in MS SQL Server, including complex stored procedures and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and system design.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Good understanding of cloud infrastructure setup, application hosting, and scaling.
• Knowledge of load balancers, networking, and application performance considerations.

DevOps & Quality

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube and Checkmarx.
• Understanding of secure coding standards and OWASP vulnerabilities.

Additional Technical Exposure

• Willingness to work with legacy technologies when required.
• Exposure to C++, COBOL, or other enterprise technologies is a plus.

Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of payments domain systems and enterprise transaction processing platforms is highly preferred.
