📖 Genesis 1:3

“And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”

The First Command That Changed Everything

Before there were oceans, stars, or breath in lungs—there was darkness.

Not chaos as we know it. Not confusion. Just emptiness… waiting.

And then—God spoke.

“Let there be light.”

This wasn’t a suggestion.

This wasn’t a process.

This was a command.

And everything changed.

When God Speaks, Reality Obeys

No tools.

No delay.

No resistance.

Light didn’t argue with darkness.

Light didn’t negotiate space.

Light appeared because God spoke.

That’s the weight of divine authority—

what He says becomes reality.

Light Came Before the Sun

This is what breaks human logic.

The sun wasn’t created until later.

Yet light existed first.

Why?

Because light doesn’t depend on sources—

it depends on the Source.

God didn’t need the sun to create light.

He is the origin of it.

This Is More Than Creation—This Is Revelation

Genesis 1:3 is not just about the beginning of the world.

It’s about the nature of God.

He doesn’t fix darkness.

He replaces it.

He doesn’t study chaos.

He speaks order into it.

The Same Voice Still Speaks

That same command still echoes today.

Into broken lives.

Into confusion.

Into identity lost in darkness.

And when He speaks—

Light still comes.

Your Darkness Is Not the End

You may feel like you’re in a formless place.

No direction. No clarity. No hope.

But remember this:

Darkness didn’t win in the beginning—and it won’t win now.

All it takes is one word from God.
