My real experience of healing after childbirth — physically and emotionally.

Postpartum recovery is something no one truly prepares you for.

After delivery, everyone focuses on the baby — and rightly so — but a mother is also going through so much.

My body didn’t feel like mine anymore. Simple movements felt difficult. There was pain, discomfort, and exhaustion all at once.

But the physical changes were just one part.

Emotionally, it was a rollercoaster.

Some days I felt strong and grateful. Other days, I felt overwhelmed without even knowing why. Mood swings became normal, and I slowly learned to accept them instead of fighting them.

What helped me the most was being patient with myself.

Taking small breaks. Asking for help. Not expecting perfection.

I realized healing is not just about the body — it’s also about the mind.

And most importantly, I understood this:

A happy baby needs a healthy and happy mother too.

So I started choosing myself a little more every day… without guilt.
