The Fashion Designing (Embroidery) Teacher is responsible for teaching embroidery techniques and fashion design concepts to students. The role involves practical instruction, curriculum planning, skill development, and mentoring students in creative textile and garment embellishment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Instruction

- Teach hand and machine embroidery techniques.
- Instruct students in basic and advanced embroidery styles (traditional and contemporary).
- Demonstrate stitching techniques, pattern transfer, and fabric selection.
- Integrate embroidery into garment design projects.

2. Curriculum Planning

- Develop lesson plans aligned with the institution’s syllabus.
- Prepare instructional materials, samples, and demonstrations.
- Design practical assignments and projects.

3. Student Development

- Guide students in developing creativity and technical skills.
- Evaluate student performance through practical exams and assignments.
- Provide feedback and mentorship.
- Prepare students for exhibitions, competitions, or fashion shows.

4. Workshop & Lab Management

- Maintain embroidery tools, frames, threads, and sewing machines.
- Ensure safe use of needles, scissors, and equipment.
- Manage inventory of fabrics and materials.

5. Industry Awareness

- Stay updated on embroidery trends and textile innovations.
- Introduce students to traditional, regional, and international embroidery styles.
- Encourage portfolio development and professional readiness.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Fashion Designing, Textile Design, or related field.
- Specialization or certification in embroidery preferred.
- Teaching experience in fashion or textile design (preferred).
- Strong practical embroidery skills (hand & machine).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
