Job Title: Designer - Residential Interior Designing

1. Overview: The Designer - Residential Interior Designing will be responsible for transforming residential spaces into aesthetically pleasing and functional environments. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision, creating design concepts, and overseeing the execution of projects to ensure quality and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, strong creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

2. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to assess their design needs and preferences.

• Create detailed design concepts through sketches, mood boards, and 3D renderings.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and budgets.

• Select and specify furnishings, materials, and finishes that align with the client’s vision and budget.

• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure the design is executed properly.

• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.

• Present design proposals to clients and make adjustments based on feedback.

• Stay updated with current design trends, technologies, and innovations.

3. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

• Strong understanding of space planning and building codes.

• Familiarity with residential design trends and materials.

• Ability to create detailed specifications and design documents.

4. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential interior design.
