About the Role:

We’re looking for a Backend Developer who’s passionate about building scalable systems and efficient APIs. You’ll work closely with our frontend, DevOps, and product teams to power high-performing applications and deliver seamless user experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Architect, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support seamless interaction with frontend and mobile applications.

• Manage and optimize database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) for speed and reliability.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions.

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system uptime and efficiency.

• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.

• Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards and encourage knowledge sharing.

• Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for deployment and scalability.

• Implement secure coding practices to protect systems and data.

• Explore and adopt emerging backend technologies to keep our stack cutting-edge.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 1+ years of professional backend development experience.

• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js (Express.js), including JavaScript (ES6+).

• Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

• Proven skills in designing and deploying RESTful APIs.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Mastery of version control tools, particularly Git.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a strong advantage.

• Top-tier problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering elegant solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit, suited for a remote team.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
