React Native Stabilization Sprint – iOS & Android Release Readiness We are preparing a React Native app for App Store and Play Store submission and need a short stabilization sprint. This is NOT a redesign or rebuild. The UI is complete and the core features already exist. Backend is supported separately. This role is strictly frontend stabilization and release preparation. Technical Context • React Native 0.75.x • Node • Hermes enabled • iOS + Android projects already configured • Specific commit will be provided upon hire Scope (2–3 Day Sprint) • Build Stabilization • Resolve iOS build issues (CocoaPods / Xcode build errors) • Resolve Metro bundler crash ( EMFILE: too many open files) Ensure clean setup process: npm install pod install app runs without red screen • Login Flow Stabilization • Ensure login screen behaves correctly • Proper navigation after login • No UI freeze, loop, or incorrect state (No backend redesign — endpoints already exist.) • Avatar Flow Activation • Ensure existing avatar feature renders correctly • Remove or correct unintended "Coming Soon" placeholder • Confirm avatar route loads without crash (No new avatar feature development required.) • Release Build Verification • iOS release build compiles successfully • Android signed release build compiles successfully • No new runtime crashes introduced No submission required — only successful build confirmation. Deliverables • App launches locally on iOS simulator without crash • App launches on Android emulator/device without crash • Release builds compile successfully • No new regressions introduced • Short runbook (5–10 lines) documenting setup steps Out of Scope (Important) • No UI redesign • No animation changes • No backend logic changes • No new features • No refactor of architecture • No long-term maintenance This is a short stabilization sprint only. Budget $150 fixed • $50 performance bonus if completed cleanly within 72 hours of contract start. Timeline Start immediately. Completion expected within 2–3 days.
