Role: Backend Developer (Node.js + TypeScript) – Equity Based

This is a full-time remote equity-based core team role (not salary-based).

You will join as a founding tech team member, owning equity and helping architect and scale India’s first live commerce platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend systems using Node.js + TypeScript


• Architect RESTful APIs and real-time services (WebSockets / live interactions)


• Design database schemas (PostgreSQL / MongoDB)


• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control


• Optimize server performance, caching, and scalability


• Work on live commerce features (chat, live session sync, orders, payments)


• Ensure security best practices and production-ready architecture


• Collaborate on system architecture and product decisions

Requirements


• 3–5 years of experience in Node.js backend development


• Strong proficiency in TypeScript


• Experience with Express.js / NestJS (preferred)


• Experience building scalable APIs and real-time systems


• Knowledge of database design (SQL or NoSQL)


• Understanding of cloud deployment (AWS / DigitalOcean / similar)


• Familiarity with Docker & CI/CD is a plus


• Startup mindset with ownership mentality
