D365 F&O; Developer

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer to join a growing transformation programme. You will be responsible for developing, customising, and integrating D365 F&O; solutions within a structured enterprise workplace.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, large-scale ERP implementations with strong architectural governance and clear technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and customise solutions within D365 F&O; using X++
- Develop extensions following Microsoft best practices (no over-layering)
- Build and maintain integrations using Azure services, APIs, and middleware
- Develop data entities, batch jobs, custom services, and reports
- Work closely with Functional Consultants and Solution Architects to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support data migration activities and performance optimisation
- Participate in code reviews, DevOps pipelines, and release management processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments

Technical Skills Required

- Strong experience developing in D365 F&O; / AX 2012
- Advanced X++ development experience
- Experience with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps
- Understanding of integration patterns (REST APIs, OData, Logic Apps, Service Bus)
- Experience with data migration frameworks (DMF)
- Knowledge of security, roles, and environment strategy
- SSRS reporting experience
- Understanding of CI/CD and release pipelines
