About the Role:
We are looking for a driven and high-potential Business Development Manager (BDM) to support our enterprise software sales in the Mumbai focused on the civil engineering, construction, and real estate sectors. The BDM will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, conducting product demos, and ensuring smooth progression of prospects through the sales funnel.

The BDM will report directly to the Director and will be a key contributor to the region’s revenue targets and customer acquisition strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate leads within the real estate, construction, and infrastructure sectors in Mumbai & Thane
Conduct meetings with project heads, procurement managers, and CXOs to understand business pain points and present tailored solutions

Deliver impactful product presentations and software demonstrations that address client needs in areas such as BOQ, billing, procurement, project tracking, etc.

Coordinate with the pre-sales and technical teams to develop customized solution proposals
Maintain regular follow-up and engagement with prospects to move deals through the pipeline
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and assist in closing deals in alignment with the Regional Head
Maintain CRM hygiene, track pipeline progress, and provide weekly sales reports to the Regional Head
Attend industry events, expos, and networking forums to build brand visibility and generate leads
Support post-sale transition and coordinate with the implementation team to ensure client satisfaction
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred); MBA or Sales/Marketing certifications are a plus preferably in ERP, CRM, or construction-tech software

Strong domain knowledge of construction workflows, project lifecycles, and real estate business models
Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and navigate complex decision-making processes
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Proficiency in using CRM tools (Zoho/Salesforce) and maintaining detailed records of sales activity
Highly motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently under guidance from the Regional Head
Willingness to travel across Mumbai & Thane as per business needs

Preferred Experience:
Sales experience in Construction ERP, Billing Software, Project Management Tools, or Civil-Tech Platforms
Strong local market knowledge and existing industry network

Understanding of SaaS solutions, client onboarding, and enterprise software implementation cycles
